Q'Tips

A tip for the winter months. As the weather gets colder, and we try to avoid Britain's wet and windy norm', you will notice that it's not only your car and your fingers that get affected.

E-liquid, when cold thickens up. When this happens, your device has a harder time wicking the liquid through the coil. This can cause the coil to overheat due to a lack of e-liquid being pulled through which can burn the coil or greatly reduce the life of it.

To avoid this, keep your device in an insulated pocket, or an inside pocket when walking out in the cold. Don't warm your device by placing it on a radiator or in front of a heater, this can A: considerably over heat your liquid and cause it to leak through the coil and B: cause severe damage to the battery which would pose a fire risk. If your device gets too cold and your liquid thickens, let it come back to room temperature more slowly with gentle heating.

And don't worry, your liquid won't freeze, not without some extremely low temperatures.
